Kildeer, ILWhy Kildeer Pet Owners Call Us First
Kildeer is a small, affluent Lake County village about 28 minutes east of Algonquin via IL-22. It sits adjacent to Long Grove, Hawthorn Woods, and Lake Zurich, and shares with them a pattern of large-lot custom homes on wooded half-acre-plus parcels. Nearly every Kildeer home was built between 1980 and 2010 as a custom single-family residence, typically 3,000 to 5,500 square feet with a full finished basement.
That housing profile drives the pet odor work in two directions. First, carpet square footage per home is high — a master suite with walk-in closet, three or four additional bedrooms, a main-floor great room and dining area, and a finished basement family room. A senior dog's winter accidents or a cat's marking habit can spread across a lot of carpet before the smell becomes obvious, and UV inspection is the only way to map it all.
Second, Kildeer basements sit almost universally on poured concrete slabs, and most are climate-controlled year-round. When a pet has accidents in the basement over a winter, the concrete underneath holds the uric acid for years. Surface cleaning and enzyme sprays can't reach it. We treat the slab directly through the carpet — that's the piece most competitors skip.
Our Kildeer customers tend to know exactly what they want: specialist-level work, a clear explanation of what's causing the problem, and a guarantee that actually means something. We'll map every spot, treat what should be treated, and tell you honestly if any area is better replaced than treated.
